The Access to Health (A2H) has taken over of The Access Project (AP) mission and it has been created and funded in order to sustain what has been done and in the way of building local capacity.

The Access Project, an affiliate, advisory project of the Earth Institute, began its work in Rwanda in 2003, providing technical support to help the Ministry of Health implement programs supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, one of the largest financing engines of international efforts to combat these diseases. By September 2016, the Access Project transitioned to the Access to Health.

Note: Access to Health’s’ interventions address U.N. Sustainable Development Goal number 3: to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
